On April 23, 2020, the Ministry of Personnel Management (MPM) remotely attended the 61st session of the Public Governance Committee (PGC) of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD).

During the session, the OECD Secretariat updated the Committee on recent initiatives, across both the PGC members and the OECD, to collect data and analyze governments' responses to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Representatives of the 36 OECD member countries, who gathered together on an online platform, were invited to share their experience in responding to the pandemic and provide input on their priorities for government work related to COVID-19.

One of the session items was on the Hub on the Governance for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), proposed as "an umbrella initiative giving more visibility to ongoing OECD work and activities on strengthening leadership and governance mechanisms in support of the SDGs". Following presentation of a refined proposal for the Hub, the MPM will continue to observe and monitor the initiatives and policies related to the SDGs.

The MPM will also continue to enhance cooperation and exchanges with international organizations and member countries by, for instance, taking part in various projects and activities, jointly delivered by members of the international community.
