On 28 June 2021, the Ministry of Personnel Management (MPM) jointly organised and hosted a global online conference with the Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH), the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for Civil Service Affairs and HR Association Qazaqstan.

Titled “HR Development Through E-Learning”, it accommodated approximately 200 attendees from ACSH participating countries. The participants shared each country’s experience in developing human resources in the civil service through e-learning and also discussed the challenges, lessons learned and achievements. The significance of restructuring and implementing the electronic learning system in the post COVID-19 era was also emphasized.

Since the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH) in 2019, the Ministry of Personnel Management of the Republic of Korea has continued exchanges with civil servants of its member states. The online session provided a new opportunity to promote Korea’s e-learning system to the participating countries, such as Estonia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Uzbekistan.
