The Ministry of Personnel Management hosted the 13th International Symposium on Personnel Administration of Korea-China-Japan on September 7, 2021.

The Symposium was first initiated as part of the trilateral cooperation network among Korea, China and Japan which was established with the signing by the three countries during a personnel management ministers' meeting in Seoul in 2005.

The annual Symposium has been hosted by each country in turn, enhancing trilateral cooperation and sharing experience in the field of public personnel management.

Under the theme of 'Digital Personnel Management,' this year's online Symposium served as a platform for the participants to exchange thoughts and ideas on human resources management policies in the post COVID-19 era.

The Ministry of Personnel Management made a presentation on Korea's flexible work arrangements for civil servants and digital personnel management, highlighting e-Saram, the Electronic Human Resource Management System, which played a significant role in quickly introducing a non-contact work environment in the Korean central government.
