On October 20, 2015, there was business agreement ceremony between the Ministry of Personnel Management and the other 33 institutions providing public servants with education and training at the Government Complex Building in Seoul.

The agreement aims to establish mutual cooperation system sharing the training courses, education programs, instructors, and facilities of the institutions mainly located in ‘innovation towns’ across the country.

In accordance with the agreement, all education programs provided by the institutions will be accessible to every public servant, making it possible to take courses from any of the 33 institutions at his or her wish, independently of the affiliation.

Based on this network, the institutions will be able to not only focus on the fields in which each of them is specialized, also jointly research, share, develop subjects of common interests such as civil service value. This will significantly improve the quality of education and training for public servants, streamlining the administration of public servants training by saving budgets and avoiding overlapping.
