Minister of Personnel Management, Kim Pan Suk and Chairman of Indonesian Civil Service Commission, Sofian Effendi signed the Memorandum of Cooperation on March 22, 2018. The agreement will enable two organizations to develop cooperation in the field of public service and to carry out the cooperation projects in various areas.

During his visit to Indonesia, Minister Kim Pan Suk also had a bilateral meeting with Asman Abnur, Minister of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform of Republic of Indonesia to discuss cooperation between the two countries. After the meeting, Minister Kim gave a special lecture on the Korean public personnel management system to Indonesian senior officials. He also agreed with Sri Hadiati, Prime Secretary of the National Institute of Public Administration, to work closely together in the field of training of civil servants.
