- Developing work competency and enhancing expertise by expanding educational opportunities for public officials graduating from high school
- Creating an education and training environment that can support the theme of ‘studying after employment’ in public office
Overview on education expense support
- Planned number of people: 1,622 per year
- Eligible trainees
- Civil servants in career service among state public officials who have not obtained a bachelor's degree (Applies to new and transferred students in the second semester of 2015)
- A person who meets the requirements of Article 32 of the Enforcement Decree of the Act on the Capacity Development of Public Officials
When a person has been subject to a disciplinary disposition, he/she can receive support only when one year or more has passed since the expiration of the period of the relevant disciplinary disposition
- There are no restrictions on degree, age, job series, position, experience, etc., but teachers, soldiers, and military officials are excluded
- Payment: Semi-annual post-payment
- Details: Tuition fee for the previous semester
- ① Support for within 50% of out-of-pocket expenses after excluding the admission fee waiver
Seasonal semesters, special lectures, field training expenses, etc. are borne by the individual
- ② Admission fee waiver and 50% reduction of tuition fees for civil servants who have been newly admitted or transferred to cyber universities through 「Special Admission for Industry Employees」 (in accordance with a business agreement by the former Ministry of Safety and Public Administration on June 8, 2012)
