Working-level competitiveness enhancement courses

Purpose

Operated from 2014 to strengthen the competitiveness of civil servants in working-level positions (Grade 6 or lower) and to maintain the vitality of the public service

Overview

  • Eligible trainees: Civil servants in Grade 6 to 9 with more than 3 years of actual work experience
  • Training period: 1 year or less
  • Training details: One-year degree program (master’s) or one-year job training in an English-speaking country
  • Training fee: Paid according to the standards of the long-term general course
  • Selection process
    • 1st round: Language proficiency test
    • 2nd round: Only those who pass the language proficiency test will be screened for training assignments.
