Domestic and overseas connected courses

Purpose

  • Improving the effectiveness of overseas training by conducting overseas training after domestic pre-training
  • Cultivating the professional ability to respond to changes in the administrative environment by strengthening networks between civil servants in developing countries and public officials in Korea and sharing administrative best practices
  • Developing expertise to respond to changes in the administrative environment by strengthening the network of civil servants with those in developing countries and sharing best practices in administration

Overview

  • Training period: 2 years or less in total
    • 1st year (domestic): Completion of master's program at an institution
    • 2nd year (overseas): Completion of master's course or job training at an overseas university
  • Qualification requirements: Grades 4 to 9 civil servants in career service with at least 3 years of actual work experience
  • Selection procedure: Project/Eligible trainee screening (MPM) → Language proficiency test → Document screening/interview (commissioned institution)
